Spasibo Russia

After a long hiatus I finally am back to my blog. I finally decided it was time to change the name and end any speculation as to who my Russian Beauties are! There are way too many folks out there looking for mail order Russian Brides. Many visited this site in search of a different kind of Russian Beauty--to that I say yeeelch! So the new name translated is Thank You Russia. As time goes by I am even more grateful for my Russian Beauties and will forever be thankful to Russia for sharing!

The beauties have been very busy this winter! Despite all the bad weather and mountains of snow we have managed to have very successful hockey and gymnastics seasons! Christopher loved his new hockey team and scored two goals at the end of season tournament! This after his team had to find new digs after the roof of their rink caved in--yikes. I can't wait for next year. Julia added several medals and a trophy to her collection after a very good competition season. Her team came in second at the State Meet and Julia earned a silver medal on vault. She leveled up and is now busy learning new routines which she will preview late in March.

Grandpa got to see both a hockey game and a gymnastics meet and the beauties were very happy to have him there. Hopefully, he will join us for more events.

I think we've made it through the worst part of the winter and we are looking forward to spring!

Oops I did it again!

It has been a really, really long time since the last update...so where do I begin. Another school year has come to end and both of the beauties made me very proud. This year was challenging but we are no worse for wear and things are looking up!

We have a new member of the family who just joined us last Friday! Meet Katya our West Virginia rescue dog. We went through a dozen names before finally agreeing on Katya.

Julia worked really hard on her gymnastics and won a bunch of medals since joining the K*inetic K*ids team as a level 4 gymnast. I am so proud of how hard she worked this year. She even scored a couple 9s this year.

Christopher worked really hard at soccer, tennis and golf. He is just a good all around athlete!

It's hard to believe that July is coming to a close. Fall will be here so soon but until then we're having a lot of fun enjoying our not so lazy days of summer. My best bud from Florida is here and I can't wait to see her on Tuesday! Julia and Chris both have exciting things coming up in August so stay tuned....maybe the end of summer post will go up before New Year's Day!
